PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an optical pickup from shocks by providing a buffer member in the movable portion of the optical pickup without using a floating mechanism, and to miniaturize a disk player. SOLUTION: This device 1 is provided with a support 2 for supporting an optical head 3, guiding members 10 and 11 for guiding the support 2 to move in the radial direction of disk, fist buffer members 14 and 16 provided in the inner peripheral sides of the guiding members 10 and 11 to buffer clashing with the support 2, and a second buffer member 18 provided in a disk outer peripheral side to buffer the collision with the support 2.
