PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth leakage breaker having an enhanced insulating performance, allowing simple mounting of a leak tripping device, and capable of suppressing damage of the electronic circuit part. SOLUTION: A main cover 100 to constitute a casing of earth leakage breaker furnished with a leak tripping device accommodation recess 100a and an aux. cover 102 covering the opening of the recess 100a, and a leak tripping device 101 composed of an electronic circuit part 39, electromagnet device 31, leakage testing button 37, leak indication button 35, etc., is accommodated in a unit case 30 made of a synthetic resin having insulating partition walls 30c and 30k for protecting the electronic circuit part 39 against arc gas generated in an arc extinguishing device 50 so that a unit system is established, and this unitized leakage tripping device 101 is accommodated in leakage tripping device accommodation recess 100e.
