PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a foamed sheet showing lightweight properties, high rigidity and a smooth/magnificent surface is manufactured by a simple operation with high productivity, and a device using this method. SOLUTION: A precooling roll 2 is brought into contact with one of the faces of a melt extruded sheet 4 and a cooling medium is sprayed to the other face by means of a cooling medium spray device 3 at any position between the tip 1a of a die lip of a T-die 1 to a nip between a first cooling roll 5 and a second cooling roll 6. Next, the sheet 4 is passed between the first cooling roll 5 and the second cooling roll 6 and is taken up by the second cooling roll 6, while the cooling medium is sprayed to the sheet 4 by a cooling medium spray device 8 installed on the side of the roll 6. Further, the sheet 4 is passed between the second cooling roll 6 and a third cooling roll 7 and cooled to obtain the polyolefin resin foamed sheet. |
