PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct the pulse width of an electrical drive pulse for driving an ultrasonic vibrator into an ideal condition. SOLUTION: In a transmission part 2 in an ultrasonic observation device 1, an electrical pulse as a reference pulse generated in a pulse generation circuit 3 is set at a selective pulse width by a pulse width setting circuit 4 and the pulse is amplified into a specified voltage and output through a pulse driver 5 and a pulse transformer 6. The output of the transmission part 2 is fedback and connected via a pulse width detection circuit 10, a pulse comparison circuit 11 and a pulse width correction circuit 12 to a pulse amplification circuit 13 for controlling the pulse width setting circuit 4, and a pulse table 14 is connected to the pulse comparison circuit 11. |
