The method involves dissolving a gas, a gas mixture or its condensate in a fuel, whereby the pressure of the gas, gas mixture or condensate (19) is higher than the pressure of the fuel. The fuel (11) is processed using a device containing at least one membrane element (16). The gas is fed to the delivery side of the membrane element and is introduced into the fuel flowing by the permeated side of the membrane element.
