Equalizing the pressure between the inside of a hot gas guiding channel (18) and an annular chamber (25) limited by the gasifier sub-assembly (5, 6, 7) and the channel, in which the annular channel blocked upstream of a sliding site is bombarded with a gas under pressure comprises forming the sliding site gas-tight w.r.t the hot gas fed into the hot gas guiding channel. The gasifier subassembly and the annular chamber surrounding the channel is bombarded with quenching gas.
