PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety halter for work capable of fixing and tensioning itself to the ground when installing the safety halter such as a main rope onto a roof, simplifying work on a roof as much as possible, and facilitating the work, and improving safety by previously constituting ring-shaped fastening parts to which a fastening device provided for a safety rope for work can be easily mounted in a safety halter main body. SOLUTION: The plurality of ring-shaped fastening parts 3 for detachably mounting the fastening device 2 provided for the safety rope of a working man are previously formed in the safety halter main body 1 at regular intervals. Tensioning metal fixtures 5 for tensioning a middle part by pulling the end part 1b of the safety halter main body 1 and hook-shaped mounting devices 4 from the tensioning metal fixture 5 via the supporting rope 6 are connected to the sides of both end parts of the safety halter main body 1.
