PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine provided with an erector capable of corresponding to a tunnel having a side part curved into a horseshoe shape or a semicylindrical shape and a horizontally long cross section. SOLUTION: A support column 32 extending in the vertical direction is provided in a central part in a shield frame 11 having a vertically long cross section, a central segment grip mechanism 33 moving along the support column 32 is provided on the support column 32, a pair of ringlike rotary frames 42 rotating in the peripheral direction are provided in both side parts of the shield frame 11, and side part segment grip mechanisms 43 are provided in each rotary frame 42, respectively.
