<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color printer in which paper transfer failure and paper ejection failure are prevented, dead space is not formed between an intermediate transfer belt and paper ejection part, so that the device can be miniaturized and excellent maintenance of internal components, devices, and units is ensured. <P>SOLUTION: Paper P is transported so as to pass through a secondary transport position and a fixing position in a fixing device 30 toward a higher position. At least part of the paper receiving face 42 of an ejection stack part 40 tilts downward in the direction of an ejection port 41, and its lowermost end is formed from an inclined face that is lower than the ejection port 41. The intermediate transfer belt 10 is stretched so that the upper stretched portion of the belt 10 extends at an angle and along the paper receiving face 42 of the ejection stacking part 40.
