<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an airbag to a conventional compact vehicle without considerably changing a design while ensuring an extensive deploying range of the airbag in a compact vehicle in which a seat for a driver is provided at the rear of a vehicle body, and an instrument panel visually recognized by the driver on the seat is provided at the front of the vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of airbags 16 capable of restraining the driver on the seat from a front side are connected to each other by a connecting means 19, and accommodated in the instrument panel 13 in a folded manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
