A device for holding and/or fixing an object and comprising a holder (2) with an opening (13) for the object and projecting parts (8). The projecting parts (8) are arranged to be able to be influenced by first operating means for displacement of the centre for the opening (13), whereby the centre for an object reaching through the opening, as a shaft, simultaneously is going to or will be displaced. When on of the projecting parts (8) is subjected to a tensile stress by a first operating means the centre of the opening (13) is displaced in one direction (23) and another of the projecting parts (8) the centre for the opening (13) in the other or opposite direction (24). A second operating means is arranged to influence the opening (13) to a displacement of its centre in one direction (34) or directions across the said one and other directions (23, 24) and in applicable cases locks the object in the device. |
