A shaped piece for guiding a flow medium, particularly for water installations, consists of a hollow shaped member (1) of plastic and at least one plastic insert (3) cast into the shaped member (1) and having an internal thread (4). To provide advantageous construction conditions it is proposed that the plastic insert (3) have in the region of the internal thread (4) a metallic support ring (7) surrounding it and enclosed between the shaped member (1) and plastic insert (3) with respect to the flow medium.<IMAGE> |
