PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand drying apparatus which can correspond to a variety of use environments. SOLUTION: In the hand drying apparatus in which air introduced from an intake vent 10 is compressed by means of a high pressure air flow generating part 2 to convert it to a high speed air flow and this high speed air flow is jetted into a treating space 3 which hands can be taken in and out from the top downward and water attached on the hands is blown off into the treating space 3 by kinetic energy of the high speed air flow to dry the hands, it is constituted in such a way that a plurality of the treating spaces 3 are longitudinally arranged.
