<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table placed in a smoking area and surely extinguishing the fire of a cigarette butt without causing deterioration of the appearance or hindering the use of the table. <P>SOLUTION: A butt extinguishing device 3 containing a snubbing roller is placed under a top panel 1 of the table and an air cleaner 2 is optionally placed under the top panel 1. The top panel 1 is supported with either one or both of the air cleaner 2 and the butt extinguishing device 3. The cigarette butt S is thrown into the butt extinguishing device 3 through a hole 6 opened on the top panel 1.
