A shoe of swash plate type compressor is provided to improve the sliable contact by realizing smooth lubrication between the shoe and a swash plate, or the shoe and a piston, and prevent lowering of the durability of the shoe by easily discharging alien substances by forming a chamfered part between an outer peripheral part and a swash plate contact part of the shoe. A shoe of a swash plate type compressor is placed between a piston and a swash plate. The shoe is formed of a spherical part(710) slidably combined with a concave spherical part of the piston when the shoe is seen from a longitudinal section, and a flat swash plate contact part sliably contacting with the swash plate at an opposite side of the spherical part. A plurality of concave parts(740) are formed along an outer peripheral part(730) between the spherical part and the swash plate contact part.
