A computer system capable of supporting a multi-OS(Operating System) and a multi-OS supporting method for the same are provided to enable a user to use the desired OS without passing a troublesome process for reinstalling the OS or performing data backup. The first OS(280) is installed to an HDD(Hard Disk Drive)(270) of a computer main frame(200). The second OS(110) is stored in a peripheral device(100) connectable to the computer main frame. An OS selector(300) allows the user to select the desired OS among multiple OSs. An OS booting part(310) loads the selected OS to a main memory(240). The peripheral device is one of a CF(Compact Flash) memory card, an SD(Secure Digital) memory card, and a USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface.
