A method for operating a domain name backup system based on a PC is provided to reduce a webpage connection time and enable a user to stably access favorite websites without external influence by directly connecting to the webpage without searching/connecting to a DNS(Domain Name Server) if the user requests connection to the specific webpage by inputting native language or specific characters to a web browser. A user PC generates a domain register storing IP(Internet Protocol) address information and search item information for each domain, and sets the domain register as a main DNS(S31). The user PC receives a search address value inputted from the user through a search window of the web browser. The user PC searches presence of domain data having the search item information corresponding to the inputted address value from the domain register(S33). The user PC extracts the IP address information from the searched domain data having the search item information matched with the user inputted address value(S34). The user PC connects the web browser to the website having a corresponding IP address by transferring the extracted IP address information to the web browser(S35).
