A cooker for preventing overflow of soup is provided to prevent soup from flowing over by shutting off boiling liquid in the cooker, arranging a guide protrusion in the cooker and contacting the protrusion to an uneven part of a lid. A soup overflow preventive cooker includes a body having protrusion(11) for shutting off and guiding a boiling liquid formed in an upper part of a wall(10) of the cooker, and a lid(20) having an uneven part(22) contacted to the protrusion of the body and a pressure discharge hole(21). Boiling liquid moves up to a corner of the cooker along the wall by bubbles of liquid and internal pressure(2a), and the protrusion shuts off boiling liquid between the wall of the cooker and the corner of the cooker. Leak of soup is minimized by assembling the protrusion with the uneven part of the lid.
