A vent hole changing device of a vehicle airbag is provided to adjust size of a vent hole and to optimally damp impact by regulating the amount of discharged gas according to various crash conditions. A vent hole changing device of a vehicle airbag comprises a mounting plate(2) mounted with an airbag cushion by intermediation of a retainer ring; a diaphragm mounting unit(2a) formed on the mounting plate in a shape of an open frame; an iris diaphragm(10) installed on the diaphragm mounting unit to adjust the closed degree of an operating plate(12) by a motor(11); and an airbag control unit(20) regulating the motor. The airbag control unit has a speed sensor(31); an impact sensor(32) installed around the vehicle; a load weight sensor(33) installed on a seat cushion; and a position sensor(34) installed on a roof at the upper side of a wind shield glass to receive information about crash speed, crash direction, a driver's physical condition, and the driver's posture and to operate the motor along pre-mapped operation values according to the crash conditions.
