A half slab with a hollow member and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to cut down manufacturing cost by integrally forming the hollow member with the half slab, to improve working efficiency by pouring concrete after inserting the other hollow member in the half slab, to decrease weight by reducing concrete. A half slab(100) is used as a bottom plate of a form in pouring concrete, and an embedded hollow member(110) is integrally formed with the half slab. The embedded hollow member of the half slab is composed of a semicircular body having an upper flat part, an insertion groove formed in an upper part of the body and a spacer protruded in a lower part of the body. An insertion hollow member(120) is inserted and fixed to the embedded hollow member, and composed of a semicircular body having a lower flat part, an insertion part protruded in a lower part of the body and a spacer(120c) protruded in the upper part o the body. A hook(300) is fastened in the half slab to fix a steel reinforcing bar to restrict lifting force applied to the embedded hollow member.
