A refrigerator is provided to define a compartment into a plurality of spaces for keeping food under different condition without any additional vegetable box or covers. A refrigerator includes a main body having a compartment(11), a door for opening or closing the compartment, shelves(15) defining the compartment into a plurality of storing spaces(17a-17c), and inner covers(18) for opening or closing front surface parts of the defined spaces. The inner covers are supported by side walls of the compartment and opening or closing the spaces by rotating, wherein locking/unlocking elements(20) are mounted to the shelves. When the inner covers are closed, upper parts thereof are positioned forward rather than lower parts thereof by inclination. |
