PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect a toll without making a vehicle temporarily stop at the time of paying the toll at a tollhouse by displaying a request for stoppage or slow traveling when a vehicle kind discriminating device detects the entry of the vehicle and displaying the permission of passage when a radio equipment communicates with an on-vehicle equipment and a toll corresponding to the vehicle kind is collected. SOLUTION: When the vehicle enters a tollhouse island and an entry detecting sensor detects it, a guide display 13 displays the request for stoppage or slow traveling in red on a guiding display panel 18. Next the vehicle kind discriminating device 11 discriminates the kind of the vehicle based on data from the sensor 14, a number of axes detecting sensor 15 and a vehicle number image pickup device 16. The display 13 receiving this discriminating result displays the vehicle kind and a using toll in red on the panel 18. When the radio equipment communicate with he remote card mounted on the vehicle and the remainder is not short in the remote card, the passing charge is judged to be all collected and the display 13 displays that the charge is collected, on the panel 18. |
