Compressor (1) has roller holder (5) that swivels around the housing axle (4). The roller axle (62,72,82) does not coincide with the housing axle, and the roller presses the diaphragm (7) against the housing inner wall (3) whereby the diaphragm is fastened to number of bars (16,26,36,46,56) at the housing inner wall, whereby the bars lie in a level perpendicular to the housing axle on a circle and form an equilateral polygon. An independent claim is included for the star-type reciprocating pump.
