LOCATION DETECTING METHOD

A location detecting method is provided to improve accuracy of location awareness by classifying a signal used in location awareness into an LOS(Line Of Sight) signal and an NLOS(None Line Of Sight) signal, and correcting data by the NLOS signal when the NLOS signal is used in location awareness. A location detecting method is used in detecting location of a moving object by storing a plurality of reference points and distance information between a plurality of anchors from each reference point in a data base. The location detecting method includes a training step and a positioning step. According to the training step, distance between each reference point and the plurality of anchors is measured through wireless communication between the moving object and the plurality of anchors(S22). It is judged whether the measured distance is due to an LOS(Line Of Sight) signal or an NLOS(Non Line Of Sight) signal(S23). Information about whether the distance measured by the NOS signal, the distance measured by the NLOS signal and the signal used in wireless communication with the anchor are due to the LOS signal or the NLOS signal is stored in the data base(S24). The positioning step determines distance between the requested moving object and each anchor and then detects the location of the requested moving object.
