<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane/electrode joint body suitable for application to a portable fuel cell power generator having no auxiliary unit such as a fluid supply mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell power generator, an anode for oxidizing fuel and a cathode for reducing oxygen are provided via an electrolyte membrane to form a fuel cell which uses liquid as the fuel. One or more air holes are provided on a wall face of a fuel container. A plurality of single cells each comprising at least the electrolyte membrane, the anode and the cathode are mounted on the wall face of the fuel container and electrically connected. The electrolyte membrane is made of a sulfonated polymer obtained by sulfonating a polyethersulfone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
