PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair removal apparatus capable of improving hair removing efficiency evenly across the whole contact area of a plucking means with a skin surface. SOLUTION: This hair removal apparatus 100 includes plucking rollers 21 configured to rotate on respective roller shafts 22 which extend generally along a skin surface S, and each having tweezing portions 21a for grasping hairs between them, and driving means for rotating each plucking roller 21 on a rotary axis R which is generally orthogonal to the skin surface S. The tweezing portions 21a pull the grasped hairs out of the skin S as the tweezing portions 21 are moved to the skin. The driving means rotates the plucking rollers 21 in such a way that the rotary axis R thereof passes through approximately the central of the plucking roller 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
