PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cu-Ti based copper alloy sheet material which has high strength and excellent bending workability and stress relaxation resistance simultaneously, and is improved in spring back. SOLUTION: The copper alloy sheet material has a composition containing, by mass, 1.0 to 5.0% Ti, and, if required, further containing one or more selected from≤0.5% Fe,≤1.0% Co and≤1.5% Ni, or further containing one or more selected from Sn, Zn, Mg, Zr, Al, Si, P, B, Cr, Mn and V in proper ranges, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, and has crystal orientation satisfying inequality (1), and preferably, satisfying inequality (2) as well. The average crystal grain size is controlled to 10 to 60μm: Iä420}/I<SB>0</SB>[420]>1.0 (1), and Iä220}/I<SB>0</SB>ä220}≤3.0 (2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
