<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus capable of arranging the directions of character images of output images, when reading and outputting a plurality of originals having mixed directions of character images. <P>SOLUTION: According to this digital copier 1, when an original-placing direction is set by depressing an original-placing direction setting button and a start button is depressed, a CPU 11 acquires original-placing direction data corresponding to the original-placing direction setting button which is depressed, reads each page of a bundle of originals which are placed by a scanner section 30, and stores the image data which are read out and the original-placing direction data which are acquired so that they are associated with each other. When an output command is issued, the CPU 11 applies rotation processing to the acquired image data, to arrange the directions of the image data, on the basis of the original-placing direction data, and outputs the image data, which are subjected to rotation processing, to an information terminal device 2 via a communication section 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
