<p>A method reducing a measurement error caused by the inhibition of a catalase by an azide that is to be used in a method of quantifying a target component comprising decomposing hydrogen peroxide originating in components other than the target component with a catalase. The method reducing a measurement error caused by the inhibition of a catalase by an azide comprises decomposing hydrogen peroxide originating in components other than the target component with a catalase, and then, in quantifying the target component by quantifying the hydrogen peroxide originating in the target component, using a catalase originating in a microorganism which has a subunit of 75 kDa or more as the catalase as described above.</p> |
