PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter separation apparatus of simple structure by simplifying piping structure of piping disposed in a drum type filter. SOLUTION: In arrangement structure of a raw water supply pipe 32 and a trapped object discharge pipe 36 disposed in the drum type filter 26, the trapped object discharge pipe 36 is insertedly disposed through the raw water supply pipe 32, a hopper 34 of the trapped object discharge pipe 36 is disposed at an opening 32A formed on an upper face of the raw water supply pipe 32. Namely, the double pipe structure of the raw water supply pipe 32 and trapped object discharge pipe 36 with the former as an outer pipe, and the latter as an inner pipe, eliminates one train from two trains of the conventional piping system, to provide the filter separation apparatus 24 of simple structure.
