PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which does not form a gap making a sitting person have the feeling incompatibility, accompanying the enlargement of a seat surface dimension. SOLUTION: The seat of the chair includes a seat body 1, and a flexible part 2 which can be extended outward from the peripheral edge part of the seat body 1 by the enlargement and contraction of fluid bags 24, 25 and 26 and which forms a seat surface for supporting the body of the sitting person together with the seat body 1.
