PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article in which a sheet separated from a liquid absorptive structure does not obstruct the entry of bodily wastes into a pocket. SOLUTION: A liquid absorptive chassis 2 has on its body-side inner surface 100 a barrier sheet 8 where front and rear communication sections 27, 28 are formed. On the barrier sheet 8 are formed tucks 42, 43. The tuck (42, 43) is in a sheet region between a barrier sheet elastic member (34L, 34R) and a side edge (40, 41). The tucks 42, 43 join sheets in the sheet regions together and function as means capable of preventing the sheet regions from being exposed from the front and rear communication sections 27, 28. The tucks 42, 43 are formed at opposite side sections 44, 45 so as to be located at portions where the barrier sheet elastic members 34L, 34R form projections and are extended in the front-rear direction Y.
