A system and a method for providing an instant messenger service to a multi-number service subscriber and a wireless communication terminal therefor are provided to use an additional phone number except a basic phone number assigned to the multi-number service subscriber initially, thereby providing an IMS(Instant Messaging Service). A login processor(501) receives a messenger login request including a multi-number service ID code from a terminal of a multi-number service subscriber. A buddy list manager(503) extracts a buddy list about an additional phone number of the multi-number service subscriber according to the multi-number service ID code. The buddy list manager adds added phone number ID information to the buddy list and transmits the list to the terminal of the multi-number service subscriber.
