PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member having sufficient strength and high emission efficiency even when the member is made thin, a backlight unit, a liquid crystal display device, and a method for manufacturing a wavelength conversion member.SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion member has a wavelength conversion layer in which a spherical first cured product obtained by curing a first polymerizable composition that comprises quantum dots and a first polymerizable compound, is dispersed in a second cured product obtained by curing a second polymerizable composition that comprises a second polymerizable compound. A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device including the wavelength conversion member, and a method for manufacturing the wavelength conversion member are also disclosed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
