<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device by which toner supply to a toner guide member is temporarily stopped if necessary in the case that toner consumption may be small for low duty printing or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is provided with a means 119 for feeding toner at the inside of a toner storing part to the end part 134 of the toner guide member 133 and possesses a shutter member 153 by which it is made infeasible to selectively receive the toner fed by the means 119 for feeding the toner in the periphery of the end part of the toner guide member 133. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
