Disclosed herein is a stable, encapsulated reactive amine composition, having a particle size about 100 microns or less comprising; water soluble amine; polymeric surfactant/stabillizer; polyisocynate; and fumed silica; wherein, the reactive amine is released from the encapsulated amine in aqueous and non- aqueous environment, for use in industries such as painting, cosmetics, paper, lubricants, printing, plastics, petrochemicals etc. Further, the invention provides process for the preparation of stable microcapsule composition, without converting the water soluble amine into its salt or adduct and its characterization thereof. |
