摘要 It is an object of the invention to provide a water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having removability and a sufficient level of adhesion reliability and to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer made from such a water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. It is another object of the invention to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive optical film including an optical film and such a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on at least one side of the optical film and to provide an image display device having such a pressure-sensitive adhesive optical film. The present invention relates to a water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, comprising emulsion particles each having a core-shell structure in which (A) a (meth)acryl copolymer forms a core layer and (B) another (meth)acryl copolymer forms a shell layer, wherein the (meth)acryl copolymer (B) has a glass transition temperature of −10° C. to 20° C.
