<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material with reduced color extinction and discoloration of a colored image, and also reduced coloring of a white part. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material, a thermal recording layer containing at least first developing particles containing a phenol resin, second developing particles containing a developing substance other than the phenol resin, and coloring substance is formed on a support.
