<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting layer transfer film which forms a highly glossy protecting layer on the image side of an ink jet recording medium without deteriorating the original image quality and feeling of the medium, and shows superiority in terms of adhesive properties between a heat-resistant film and a transferrable protecting layer, transfer easiness of the transferable protecting layer, blocking resistance and shelf stability over time. <P>SOLUTION: The protecting layer transfer film 1 for ink jet process has the transferable protecting layer 3 which is formed in a freely releasable manner on the heat-resistant film 2, and thermally transferred to the surface of the recording medium where an image is formed by an ink jet recording process. The transferable protecting layer 3 is formed of a plurality of aqueous resin emulsions showing a varying minimum film forming temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
