PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for display device including a display device with a simple structure capable of stably setting at any opening angle, and capable of being manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: A display device 1 has a connection part 15 for connecting to a cable 5 on the rear face H of a housing 10. A stand 3 for display device is rotatably connected to the rear face of the display device to support the display device. Viewing from the rear side, the stand 3 for display device includes: a plate-like cover plane 31 covering the connection part 34; side face parts 32 and 33 which are the left end and the right end of the cover plane bent at a right angle; and a lower inclined part 34 which is the lower end of the cover plane bent upward at an angle toward the display device 1.
