PURPOSE: A structure for evaporation of a refrigerator is provided to improve cooling performance of the refrigerator by increasing working time of the refrigerator as an interval between defrosting operations is extended. CONSTITUTION: An evaporation structure(10) comprises an evaporator(20) diagonally inclined, and fixed on a rear side of a freezer compartment(110); a plurality of fans(30,30a) on an upper end of the evaporator; and a driving damper(40) formed as a cylinder to allow the evaporator to be inserted therein, and rotated to change a flowing path of chilled air passing radiating fins of the evaporator depending on driving of the fans. If wind volume of chilled air discharged into the freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment by one of the fans is rapidly reduced due to the frost formed on the radiating fins of the evaporator, the driving damper having the evaporator inserted therein is rotated by driving of the other of the fans to change the flowing path of chilled air passing the radiating fins of the evaporator to the other part of the evaporator on which no frost is formed.
