PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately estimate the moving route of a probe car by parallely evaluating and integrating path findings in respective WP sections.SOLUTION: The map matching system includes: a data storage part for storing probe data having a plurality of pieces of WP position information for a probe car and digital road map data; a WP section setting part for setting a plurality of WP sections of the probe car based on the probe data and the digital road map data; a vicinity link setting part for setting one or more vicinity links for connecting the WP sections based on the probe data and the digital road map data; a reliability information calculation part for calculating reliability information for each of the plurality of WP sections; a path finding order determination part for weighting each of the plurality of WP sections to determine the order of path findings; and a path finding part for executing path finding by linking each of the plurality of WP sections via one or more vicinity links with determined path finding order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
