BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A backlight assembly for a liquid crystal display is provided to connect a return wire to an intermediate connector after assembling a reflective plate, thereby preventing damage of lamps wires and lowering of the work efficiency due to the reflective plate. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lamps(210,220,230,240) having hot and cold electrodes are arranged on a reflective plate(100). A plurality of hot wires(212,222,232,242) have one ends connected with the hot electrodes of the lamps respectively. A plurality of cold wires(214,224,234,244) have one ends connected with the cold electrodes of the lamps respectively. First and second connectors(310,320) for hot electrodes are connected with the other ends of the hot wires for providing first power voltage to the hot electrodes. First and second connectors(410,420) for cold electrodes receive second power voltage provided from the outside. Third connectors(510,520) are connected with the other ends of the second wires for providing the second power voltage to the cold electrodes.
