A computer-implemented method includes identifying a computer-based portable program module, automatically altering code in the portable program module to permit display of the module on a television-based display so that the displayed module has a substantially similar appearance on the television-based display as on a computer display, and providing the altered code for execution on a processor connected to a television-based display.

1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
playing, by a computing device, first media content on a display device; determining, by the computing device, that the first media content has ended playing; presenting, by the computing device and in response to the computing device having determined that the first media content has ended playing, a preview of second media content; determining, by the computing device, that the display device has presented the preview of the second media content for a predetermined period of time without receipt of a pause user input or a skip user input; and playing, by the computing device and in response to the computing device having determined that the display device presented the preview of the second media content for the predetermined period of time without receipt of the pause user input or the skip user input, the second media content on the display device.
