Light bulb and florescent tube replacement using FIPEL panels

A lighting device formed of a FIPEL panel driven by electrical connection. For example, a frequency generator can create a frequency that creates a light output having any frequency in the spectrum. The light emitting panel can be flexible, and can be coded along a curved surface, such as the inner surface of a light bulb.

a housing, having at least one surface through which light is output; an electrical connection; and a light emitting substance connected to said electrical connection, said light emitting substance extending along a curved path and outputting light of a wavelength dependent on a frequency of a driving signal received over said electrical connection, said light emitting substance emitting light in multiple directions.
