PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a communication loop in a network without transmitting a test frame.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a plurality of switch devices 40 which are connected to a base station device 30; a gateway device 20 which is connected to each of the switch devices 40 in the same network; and a detection device 60 which detects a communication loop in the base station device 30. The detection device 60 acquires a correspondence table of a first transmission source address of an interface of the switch device 40 and a second transmission source address of an interface of the base station device 30 connected to the interface of the switch device 40 from the gateway device 20, and generates loop information indicating whether or not a communication loop is generated in the base station device 30 on the basis of the correspondence table. |
