PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an efficient removal of tar from a synthetic gas, an effective use of heat energy borne by a post-cleanup oil by creatively exploring utility targets of the post-cleanup oil, and an effective use of the removed tar.SOLUTION: The provided synthetic gas production system 100 includes: a combustion furnace 112 for heating a fluid medium; a gasifying furnace 116 for forming a fluid layer as a result of the introduction therein of the fluid medium heated by the combustion furnace 112 and then generating a synthetic gas by gasifying a to-be-gasified raw ingredient with heat borne by the fluid layer; oil cleanup units (oil scrubber 220 and mist separator 222) for cleaning, by contacting the generated synthetic gas with an oil, the synthetic gas with the oil; and an oil transmission unit 240 for transmitting, into the combustion furnace 112, the oil having washed the synthetic gas within the oil cleanup units as a post-cleanup oil, whereas the combustion furnace 112 uses the post-cleanup oil for heating the fluid medium. |
