PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for image processing, and an image processing program and a recording medium therefor which can make a three- dimensional display by actuating desired application software by directly nipping an icon on a virtual PC screen with fingers to move it in a virtual space.

SOLUTION: When a collision decision part 82 decides that fingers collide against a virtual PC screen or an icon displayed on the PC screen, an image generation part 83 actuates the application software with which the icon is related as instructed by a control part 84 and updates and generates a virtual space image so that the application software is displayed in front of the PC screen. The control part 84 stores the collision decision result and the generated virtual space image data in a specified storage location of a storage part 85 and transmits the image data to a virtual space display device through a signal processing part 86 and a signal transmission and reception part 87.
