<p>alpha -Substituted carboxamidoamine represented by the following general formula I: <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes an alkyl or alkenyl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms; R2 denotes hydrogen or the group: C2H4OH; R3 and R4 denote hydrogen, the group: C2H4CO2M or C2H4OH; and, if R2 is the group: C2H4OH, R3 and R4 are each time hydrogen or the group: C2H4CO2M; and, if R2 is hydrogen, one of the radicals R3 and R4 is the group: C2H4OH. M is hydrogen, an alkali metal, ammonium or an organic ammonium compound. The compound is novel and useful as surface-active agent.</p> |
