PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage of water from a water-seal apparatus by pressurized water, by forming a water-seal ring by integrally providing a bottomed recessed part to the periphery of a central conical part having an insert hole capable of permitting the insert of a signal cable in a loosely fitted state and inserting the same in a housing in an inserted state. CONSTITUTION:Bottomed recessed parts 53 are integrally provided to the peripheries of central conical parts 52 having insert holes 51 to form water-seal rings 42a-42e of a water-seal apparatus 40 by pressurized water and, in inserting the rings 42a-42e in the housing 41 fixed to the housing body 11 of a signal cable feed apparatus 10, the respective conical parts 52 are closely arranged in series so as to be opposed to a pressurized water introducing opening 54. Then, a cable guide 43 is connected to the ring 42a through a water guide ring 44 and a signal cable is inserted through the guide 43, the center conical part 43b of the ring 44, the insert hole 44a and the conical parts 52 while a drain pipe 46 is mounted to the water guide hole 45 of the housing 41 communicated with the ring 44 in an inserted manner to drain pressurized water. By this mechanism, pressurized water can be reduced in pressure. |
